The Adventureland teachers are experienced, loving people who desire to work with and teach children educational concepts as well as proper interaction skills. Adventureland employees meet the State Licensing Requirements for Daycare employment. All preschool teachers have had formal training in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. All teachers including infant and toddler teachers have previous experiences working with groups of children. In addition to education and experience requirements, every teacher is required to have First Aid, CPR, annual Universal Precautions Training, a Criminal Background Check, and at least 12 hours of continuing education each year. This is a high calling and our employees must meet the standards of both Heartland Church and Adventureland, and that of the parents who entrust their children to them.
