Program Descriptions

Infant Program Description
Your infant’s teacher will be highly responsive to feeding, diapering, and sleeping needs. During waking hours, your infant will learn through singing, talking, holding and playing. Our infant room is equipped with a variety of educational toys, cribs for resting and pictures of your child and your family.

Young Toddler Program Description
Your toddler will be offered a variety of educational activities throughout the day. Some will be offered in group settings and others will be child-directed activities. A healthy lunch and naptime help prepare children for outdoor and indoor play on our playgrounds. Rooms are equipped with toys for riding and rocking, as well as books, puzzles and action-reaction toys. Kitchens and play food, cars, and tool-sets are examples of toys available to stimulate your toddler’s imagination.

Two-Year Old Program
Children engage in both large group activities which are directed by the teachers and individualized activities where your child will choose activities of interest. Lunch and naptime help children to prepare for more learning fun. Our rooms are equipped with books, a variety of learning materials, learning centers, games, and materials for dramatic play.

Early Preschool Program Description
Your child’s desire for increasing independence will be fostered through moments of make-believe, participation in learning centers and thematic instruction. This room is arranged to encourage child-centered and teacher-directed activities. Items for dramatic play, drawing and art supplies, puzzles, games, and science materials are all available to stimulate your child’s learning.

Preschool Program
The activities in this program will help your child to acquire the skills necessary for successful entrance into kindergarten. Communication through drawing and writing is encouraged. Letter and number concepts are emphasized during circle time along with an opportunity to share opinions and feelings. This room is set up so your child can explore various learning concepts. A variety of children’s literature is available to encourage early literacy skills. Multiple writing and drawing tools are used for written communication. Calendar, weather and number charts decorate the room.
