Vote to Affirm Our New Elder
The current Elders of Heartland Church are:
Warren Byrd (2007-2010, 2nd term) Tom Heidenreich (2009-2012, 2nd term) Fred Knight (2007-2010, 1st term) Randy McFarland (2009-2012, 1st term) Darryn Scheske (Senior Pastor)
Fred Knight has agreed to serve a 2nd three-year term and the Elders have reappointed him. Warren Byrd has successfully completed his second three-year terms as Elder. Our Bylaws require that an Elder must rotate off the Elder Board for one year after serving two consecutive terms. This leaves a vacancy to be filled. The Elders have thoroughly and prayerfully considered this appointment according to the guidelines of the 1 Timothy 3:1-11 and Titus 1:5-9, and are unanimous in appointing Palmer Inniger to serve as an Elder for a three-year term. This is Palmer’s second appointment to the Elder Team. He was one of the original founding Elders with Warren Byrd in 2004.
